About the POA and our Neighborhood Covenants |
Formed in January 2001, the Brightwood POA's mission is to help preserve our property value, plan neighborhood events, and to maintain the common grounds. Each lot owner automatically becomes a member of the association at the act of sale. Our goal is to develop and foster a family oriented community.
At act of sale during closing, each property owner should receive a link to the neighborhood covenants. The neighborhood covenants have been designed to be enforceable without becoming overbearing which helps make the neighborhood a strong selling point for our homeowners.
Each homeowner shares a portion of the responsibility for their support of the POA and is legally required to pay a small annual maintenance fee for the common grounds such as the pond and fountain, signs, and any other improvements not maintained by the City of Bentonville, Arkansas.
